Elaborate Illusion

Streets and transit zones, environments built for movement, encountered in moments of stillness. The images focus on places that are usually passed through, not stayed in.

I photograph cities when they slow down. Not to document events, but to observe what remains when activity fades. Light, structure and distance become the main subjects, shaping an atmosphere that feels quiet, functional and slightly uncanny.

A lot of my work is created at night, when public spaces reveal their underlying form. The focus lies on presence rather than action, on mood rather than narrative. Shot analog and digital.
